Fancy AI Privacy Policy

This page explains what Fancy AI stores, why it is stored, how long it stays and how you remove it. Written to be read, not skimmed.

  1. Who this policy belongs toThis policy applies to fancy-app.net and every companion chat offered under the Fancy AI name. When it says "we", it means the team operating Fancy AI.
  2. Accepting the policyBy creating an account or sending a message on Fancy AI you accept the handling described here. If you disagree with any part of it, please stop using the service.
  3. Age requirementFancy AI is for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly keep information belonging to minors, and any account found to belong to one is removed together with its data.
  4. Account informationWhen you register we store an email address, a display name and an encrypted password. Nothing more is required to use Fancy AI.
  5. Companion settingsThe look, voice, mood and interests you choose for a companion are saved so the character stays consistent between visits.
  6. Conversation contentMessages exchanged with a Fancy AI companion are stored against your account so the conversation can continue where it stopped.
  7. Memory entriesFacts a companion remembers, such as a job title or a birthday you mentioned, are stored as short notes attached to that companion.
  8. Technical informationWe record browser type, device category, approximate region and timestamps, which keep the service stable and help us spot abuse.
  9. Payment informationCard numbers never reach our servers. Payments run through regulated processors that return only a token, the amount and the result.
  10. CookiesFancy AI uses cookies to keep you signed in, remember interface preferences and measure aggregate traffic. Blocking them may sign you out repeatedly.
  11. AnalyticsAggregated usage statistics show which pages people reach and where they leave. These reports contain no message text.
  12. Why we process informationTo operate your account, deliver replies, prevent fraud, handle billing, answer support requests and comply with the law.
  13. Lawful basisDepending on your location we rely on performance of a contract, our legitimate interest in a safe service, your consent for optional cookies, and legal obligations.
  14. No sale of informationFancy AI does not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share message content with advertisers.
  15. Service providersHosting, email delivery and payment partners process limited information strictly on our instructions and under written agreements.
  16. Legal disclosureWe may disclose information where a valid legal order requires it, or where disclosure is needed to protect the safety of a person.
  17. Storage locationData is held on secured servers in the European Union and the United States. Transfers between regions use recognised safeguards.
  18. Security measuresTraffic is encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed, access to production systems is limited to named staff, and access is logged.
  19. Retention periodsAccount data lives while the account exists. Conversations remain until you delete them. Billing records are kept as long as tax rules require.
  20. Deleting a conversationRemoving a chat inside Fancy AI clears its messages and the memory entries created from it, normally within twenty-four hours.
  21. Deleting an accountClosing your Fancy AI account removes profile data, companions and chats from live systems within thirty days, and from backups within ninety.
  22. Your access rightsYou may ask for a copy of the information connected to your Fancy AI account and receive it in a portable format.
  23. Correction and objectionYou may correct inaccurate details, object to certain processing, or ask us to restrict processing while a query is resolved.
  24. Withdrawing consentWhere processing depends on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting anything done beforehand.
  25. Marketing messagesProduct emails are optional. Every one carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects your access to Fancy AI.
  26. Automated repliesCompanion answers are produced automatically. No automated process on Fancy AI makes a decision with a legal effect on you.
  27. Fictional charactersCompanion names, photographs and biographies are invented. They do not represent, identify or reveal information about real individuals.
  28. External linksPages outside fancy-app.net follow their own policies, and we are not responsible for how those sites handle your information.
  29. Breach notificationIf an incident affects your information we notify affected members and the relevant authority within the timeframe the law sets.
  30. Changes to this policyUpdates appear on this page with a new date at the top. Significant changes are announced inside your Fancy AI account before they take effect.
  31. Contacting usPrivacy questions and data requests go to privacy@fancy-app.net. We reply within thirty days, and sooner where the law requires it.
